"As Marketing Director here at Tilson, I make sure staff have any NAHB designations they have earned displayed prominently on their business cards. Over the years, we have found that NAHB designations provide credibility with clients and instill a sense of professionalism throughout the company."

"The HBA's education program exposed me to ideas that were new to me and I got to hear very different viewpoints from my own – a broader outlook is always valuable."
Jim Rush, GMB
President, Green Builder, Inc.
"I have been a Graduate Master Builder since 1993. This designation appears on my business card, web site and every new home proposal that we prepare. Potential home buyers always ask about the Master Builder title and I get a chance to describe the elite group that has earned this designation. Being a Master Builder has tipped the scales in our favor more than once and education required to obtain it helps our business decisions every day."
Steve Zbranek, GMB, CGP
President, Zbranek Custom Homes
"I feel very strongly about education and am very fortunate to belong to a very progressive and proactive HBA. I was able to obtain all of the required classes for four designations in one year: CGB, GMB, CAPS and CGP. Through my local newspaper I was able to inform the public when I achieved a designation and explain the importance of that designation, which resulted in several new custom home projects."
Stan Voelker, President, CGB, CGP, GMB, CAPS
Voelker Custom Homes
"I have been a believer in the designation program since I discovered it in 1998. I have used its benefits such as networking with other trade professionals, understanding better how to manage my own company, and having the NAHB standing behind me in this program. I have encouraged those around me to line up and sign up for the classes and make themselves stand out from the crowd by being able to call themselves “Certified Graduate Remodeler” or whichever designation they are seeking. I believe it puts us head and shoulders above the average builder/remodelor to be able to display the designations on our clothing and our literature."
Gary Henley, President, CGB, CGR, CGP, CAPS, GMB, GMR
